i got to chat with tammy on facebook between the times bethany was probably dominating it....
she mentioned mom studying scripture mastery...brought me back.
gideon, do you remember the year we were determined to win? we got the messerly's on our team, i think, and studied the few weeks before s-day and kicked trash! oh the simple pleasures in life. i'll never forget the year sister witte looked at the medleys incredulously - they actually knew the scripture masteries.
thanks to us mom tortures the kids with studying them outside of seminary!

Yes due to the speed which they get up the stairs. Bethany has a bit of an edge in speed, but if there wasn't a mom in the house to control the control, Tammy would have the edge in sheer strength she could exibit in holding Bethany back from bounding up in front of her. Absent that Bethany gets there first mostly. Once in a while the computer is turned off to prevent pre-homework facebooking. Quite a let down after the aerobic burst!
Heck yea the Messerly's and Medley's won S-day!!! I like to brag about my scripture mastery days to the 12 and 13-year-old Sunday School class we teach...somehow I think that's going to get me some street cred with them I guess. Loved the walk down memory lane!
