My Life is Over

I am constantly tired and lightheaded. When I think of certain foods I get a gag reflex. However, when I smelled a bell pepper today I had to have it. My subway sandwich had to be ham, it had to be on wheat bread and had to have sweet onion sauce. I never go to subway. But apparently whatever is inside me has; it knew what to order - and it's only the size of a sesame seed.

This week it is developing a brain; one that will intrigue us the rest of our life.
Next week it will develop a heart that beats twice as fast as mine; a heart that we will be a part of - the rest of our life.
The rest of our life...

A Little Something More...

School is out and I finally started cooking again. It's been a great success, to my surprise and Aaron's pleasure. Only that Aaron has started rolling his eyes since I've started finding recipes that require special ingredients and cookware. I think he'll give in when I've cooked enough good meals...

A Few December Events

Aaron cut his hair for the AFI concert. It's an emo band. Now, mom, this is what emo is. Take note.

We spent a night in Salt Lake at the Anniversary Inn. We stayed in the "Log Cabin" room to reminisce our honeymoon. Except we weren't as sick and we didn't have to start our own fire!

We went to see the lights at Temple Square the night we stayed in Salt Lake. So romantic!...but freezing.

Aaron headed up our FHE activity and we made advent calendars. You can see mom's influence on my advent calendar. I even put scriptures under each square...

Aaron cut down our christmas tree this year. It's the best tree ever and we've had fun collecting ornaments.

Our New Cottage

Don't be fooled. This house is awesome and just right for us. It is really roomy inside and we are so happy here. Aaron and Jared have removed the dead cherry tree since this photo was taken. It was a long project.

We enjoy the mountains that are right up the street from our house. I trimmed the rose bush, that bloomed nicely, and Aaron did a great job reviving the lawn.

Behind our house we enjoy no neighbors, an old log fence and a great view of Utah Valley.

There are no street lights near us and we like to really believe we've found our little country in the city.

Desperation

I'm at school. I've been practicing since 7:30 this morning. I work at 2:30...playing more piano.

All my study materials are at home. So, I came to check my email for the hour and a half break. I found this picture in an email forward.

Totally awesome.

It's what I want to do the piano sometimes...most of the time.
And yes, I would have that look on my face as well.

Uh, Sarah? photo session?

It's the simple things in life.
