we are surrounded by people in our lives like trees; they are sturdy, steadfast, reliable, comforting, protecting, beautiful, and live-giving. with them our lives are richer, our hearts warmer, and our time better spent.
these pictures speak words that used to be only passed down by the village story-teller about love and sincerity. now, we can capture the ones we cherish in a moment of laughter and care so we can look back on the sweet, unconditional love in those faces we hold dear.
there are so many who have come to hold our baby Jade and pour their love over her. my heart sinks knowing they were not all captured in a photo. i vow to be shameless in my picture taking from now on.
