and this marks the beginning of a journey of complete traveling independence from mom and dad. though our backs and arms will be thankful, she needs less and less, and that's hard to accept.
i got a little too comfortable with her on her belly today. unnoticed by me, she spit up and laid her head down in it covering the whole side of her face in white, chunky warm, half-digested breast milk. ha ha. poor girl had it in her ear.
needless to say, she was due a good bath tonight after her best friend licked her to death (rosie-jared and lynn's dog) during the season finale of the bachelor. she loves that dog. i see a warm and long lasting friendship in their future. rosie is so good to respond quickly to jade's screams when rosie starts to walk away. she never turns down a willing hand and foot to lick :)
